Build Week 15: Pouring the Slab
The time finally came to pour our slab! It was sad to see all of our excavation and foundation work get covered up, but more exciting that next week we can put our walls back up in their final home.
Week of November 26 - Day 28
This week brought one of our coldest build days, but also one of the most exciting watching the concrete go in! We had a crew come in to make sure that this vital element is as strong as possible to support our whole building. We helped them where we could without getting in their way and by mid afternoon, it was all in and starting to cure.
Now the slab gets a week to cure while we are all off for the Thanksgiving holiday. Come next week, the building we had at our temporary campus site will start getting put together again.
